Task Forces - Ramadan Task Force (RTF)

Current Team Leaders:

Salmiyeh Karamali
Tasneem Salem
Duha Fahmy

If you would like to give us your feedback or give us a donation, email Salmiyeh Karamali at skaramal@umd.umich.edu.

Scope:

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.  Many times, sunset falls between classes and in the middle of hectic schedules of students, faculty, and staff.  That's why it's important for Muslims to have a guaranteed place to break their fast together with their friends and other Muslims on campus.  The Ramadan Task Force's mission is to provide an iftar free of charge every day for everyone on campus.

All donations are welcome - please give anything you can to help MSA to continue offering these dinners for free.  Collection boxes are available during iftar.

Goals:

  • Continuing to offer free iftars

  • Convenient locations

  • Quality food
