Eid Mubarak!
As you may already know, the month of Ramadan is coming to its end. With
that said we wanted to wish you all EID MUBARAK! Depending on your
communities, Eid will begin on either Tuesday or Wednesday. As
a result, Tuesday's (Sept 29th) iftar on campus will be the last one for the
month. On behalf of the Muslim Students Association, We wanted to thank you
all for coming to our iftars, and wanted to give a special thanks to those
who were able to donate. The MSA will continue to work hard for the
students and try to provide as many accommodations as possible.
Please try to stop by our weekly meetings and give us input for future
events so that we can continue to work for YOU.
Ramadan Iftars
Inshallah starting the first day of school, the MSA will be
hosting FREE Ramadan
Iftars for students on campus every Monday through Thursday
throughout Ramadan. The only way we can keep this iftars free and
available to all is if we raise enough money. If you would like to
earn a lot of good deeds this month, you can donate money to keep
these iftars running. On average each day costs about
$300-$350 dollars and feeds about 75-110 students. If you would
like to write checks, please make them payable to Muslim Students
Association and contact Majed Afana at
president@msadearborn.org to pass it on. Donations of any amount
are appreciated!
