Executive Board Meeting

Start: 6:38 pm - End: 7:27 pm

 

Present: Ramy, Zeshahn, Ayman, Hodhaifa, Maher, Shan, Nousseiba, Hany, Rania

 

1.      Opening Du'a by Rania

 

2.      Community Service

§         Set up invites and calling people. Shan email everyone. So far 12 brothers don’t know how many sisters

§         For Next Year – need to form a team earlier

 

3.      Education - Al-Maghrib

·         First day might be free

·         People attending:

¨        Friday – Ayman

¨        Saturday

¨        Sunday – Hany

 

4.      Outreach – Jummah

§         Muhi might do it this week, otherwise calling Oussama

§         Last week good turnout

 

5.      Finance

§         Called the pledges. Also going to draft a letter for them.

§         Account balance $16,468

§         Sao – hasn’t given a bill yet for G-Next. It will come in mid-June

§         Possible activity: advertise for restaurant and MSA gets a certain amount of the profit.

 

6.      Unity Dinner

§         Discussed last weeks meeting with TMA about the dinner.

§         Decided that the co-sponsorship will be the same as everyone else

§         Everyone’s ideas are more then welcome and are more than welcome to talk to us.

 

7.      Picnic

§         Site reserved. Hodhaifa needs to get a receipt for the reservation

§         Meeting next Wednesday

§         Food with be taken care of by Dearborn

§         Grills

§         Ad

§         Supplies

 

8.      Misc

§         Life has a carnival in August and wanted MSA to help with that.
