Executive Board Meeting

Start time: 4:45 - End Time: 5:00

Availability: Everyone said when they weren’t available and decided that summer meeting times will be Mondays 6pm SHARP.

· Al-Magrib: Intensive class for two consecutive weekends.

o June 9-11 and June 16-18

o Room has been reserved

· May 20: community service

o Life contacted Ramy and told him about the community service on May 20.

§ Cleaning up areas in Detroit.

§ Life wants us to do it

o Originally planned for the Walk as One with NCCJ. Talked it over.

o E-board voted and felt that we should do the community service with Life because we really haven’t done much with them in the past and they’ve supported us.

o Ramy will e-mail details

· Scholars coming from Al-Azhr (or however you spell that). Have lectures with them. It is a one day event. It will be funded by ICA. It will be taking place mid May. Details unknown. Ramy will talk to Rasheed Baydoun, HFCC President, about the details of cosponsoring and the event. Ramy will get back to us.
